At the end of last year, we ran a survey through our AffairHealing.com site, asking people who were still in "affair recovery" to answer questions about their experience of 2106 and their hope for 2017.
When we asked, When you think about love, what do you hope for most in 2017?" here were the words most commonly used in their responses:
88% of responders were betrayed spouses and 12% were the ones who cheated. Here's how they all answered other questions:
When was your affair discovered or disclosed? 2016: 41% 2015: 37% 2011-2014: 17% Prior to 2014: 5% Are you currently married to your spouse? 90% indicated they were still married. This number was 20% for couples who found out prior to 2014 and 9% for those who found out in 2016.
